What is a gift voucher?
The Castello Tafuri Gift Card is a prepaid gift voucher available in Euro (EUR).
The gift voucher can be used to pay hotel services (any suitable service managed or provided by the hotel).
What types of gift vouchers exist?
There is a physical gift certificate that can be purchased at the hotel or by e-mail by writing to info@castellotafuri.it. You will receive a coupon via email. The electronic gift voucher is perfect for last minute gifts to buy online.
Where can I use the gift voucher?
The voucher can be used to pay for hotel services (any suitable service managed or provided by Castello Tafuri)
In addition to accommodation, can I also pay for other services with my gift certificate?
Yes, you can pay for the overnight stay, the restaurant and services such as breakfast, drinks in the lounge bar, drinks from the minibar or in the restaurant.
How do I use the gift voucher for payments?
Present the gift voucher to the receptionist at check-out or when paying the bill for any other hotel service. We will verify your available balance and the amount requested will be deducted instantly from the gift voucher. You can use the gift voucher to fully settle the bill or to partially pay it. In case you do not use the total value of the gift voucher, the remaining amount will be kept on the voucher and used later. There is no cash refund.
How to pay with an electronic gift certificate?
You have received an email containing an electronic gift voucher with a progressive number. Print the electronic gift voucher and present it at the hotel at the time of payment. It is essential that you bring with you a copy of the electronic gift voucher, without it the payment will not be accepted.
I do not have enough credit on my gift voucher to pay the entire bill. Can I pay in part with the gift voucher and partly with another payment method?
Yes, if the value of the gift voucher is not sufficient to cover the account, the balance can be paid by another payment method.
If I do not use all the value of the gift voucher, will you give me cash?
No, the residual value will be kept in the gift voucher and you can use it later.
What is the validity period of the gift voucher?
The gift voucher is valid for 24 months after the activation date.
What is the minimum and maximum value of the gift voucher?
The minimum value is EUR 20 and the maximum value is EUR 200.
I can not find my gift voucher anymore. I lost it or it was stolen. Can I have a new one?
Your gift voucher has a progressive and registered number. In this case, block it immediately by sending us an email, which contains the subject 'report lost gift card'. Your gift voucher will be canceled and replaced with a new one that will contain the remaining value of the lost / stolen gift voucher. In the event that the Gift voucher is not registered, it will not be possible to block it. In case of loss, the voucher will not be replaced.
Can you recharge a gift voucher?
No, it's not possible.
Is it possible to choose the value of the gift voucher?
If you buy the gift voucher at the hotel, you can choose any value between EUR 20 and EUR 200. If you order the gift certificate online, you must choose a fixed value (20, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 EUR).
Is it possible to choose the currency of the voucher?
The gift voucher is only available in EUR.
Can I buy the gift voucher and sent it to a different address, as a gift?
Yes, when the gift voucher is purchased online.
Can I include a personalized message in the gift voucher?
Yes, you can write your message on the voucher. If you purchase the gift voucher online, you can send us your message which will be printed on the voucher.
When is the gift voucher activated?
If you purchase the gift certificate at the hotel, it is activated at the time of purchase.
The electronic gift voucher is activated at the time of purchase.
How many voucher can I buy?
You can purchase a maximum of 5 gift vouchers with an order. If you wish to order more than 5 vouchers to be sent with a single shipment to a single address, please send us an e-mail, requesting Company Gift vouchers.
How is the payment?
All gift vouchers purchased at the hotel or online must be paid by credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Amercan Express). We do not accept payment in cash.
I would like to cancel the purchase. It's possible?
If you have purchased online, you can cancel the purchase within the following 14 days, provided the vouchers have not been used. You must send an email to info@castellotafuri.it with the subject "Cancellation Gift Card". We will block the gift voucher in the system and re-credit the amount to the credit card used for payment.

How long does it take to receive gift vouchers?
If you purchase the gift certificate at the hotel, you will receive the coupon activated immediately.
If you purchase the gift voucher online, the coupon will be sent to the address you indicated.
Are there management or shipping costs?
If you purchase the gift voucher at the hotel, you will receive it at the time of purchase, therefore no shipping or handling fees will be applied.
If you purchase the gift voucher on line, the related shipping costs will be debited at the time of purchase. It is the buyer's responsibility to enter the correct address. If the gift voucher can not be delivered due to an incorrect address, Castello Tafuri can not be held responsible.
